Expressive Therapies is growing. We are seeking a music therapist who is passionate about the field of music therapy and making a difference in the lives of the communities they serve.  As a Music Therapist, you will take on many roles within the company to help our organization deliver exceptional client experiences and support our Creative Art Therapist team.

Music therapist responsible for:
•       Implementing group and individual music therapy sessions.
•       Completing initial assessments as referred.
•       Creating appropriate individual and group sessions based on need(s) of clientele.
•       Co-facilitating individual and group sessions with other creative arts therapists.
•       Attending interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
•       Referring to other disciplines as needed/not practicing out of scope.
•       Completing required documentation in timely manner.
•       Providing care that is age appropriate to clientele

Employment Standards, Qualifications and Requirements:

•       Bachelor of Music Therapy – MT-BC (or prepared to take the boards)
•       Ideal candidate will also have a counseling degree / LPC or LCSW licensures
•       Driven to support organizational growth, focused on the clinical services delivered by the organization
•       Strengths in problem solving/analysis, decision making, clinical supervision, and communication
•       Excellent teamwork orientation
