Call for Research Posters
Submissions are due January 15, 2017
The Great Lakes Regional Conference will sponsor a Research Poster Session on Friday, March 17th at the conference in Milwaukee, WI. This session will provide participants with an opportunity to display their research in exhibition format.
Carefully follow the guidelines below to submit a proposal for the Research Poster Session:
1) Submit one copy of a 600-800 word abstract; or a copy of the full report (including an abstract). Regardless of choice, each submission must include complete information for judging research quality.
2) The main body of the email needs to include all information necessary for listing in the final program, including:
a) Title of the paper,
b) Names(s) of author(s) in order of proportion of their contribution.
*Note the following AMTA Code of Ethics for Publication Credit for authors of research:
8.7.1 Credit is assigned only to those who have contributed to a publication, in proportion to their contribution.
8.7.2 Major contributions of a professional nature made by several persons to a common project will be recognized by joint authorship.
8.7.3 Minor contributions such as editing or advising, will be recognized in footnotes or in an introductory statement.
c) Institutional affiliation(s) and
d) Complete address of primary researcher.
3) On the abstract or full paper INCLUDE ONLY the paper’s title. DO NOT include the name(s) of the author(s) or affiliation.
4) Submissions must be received as an e-mail attachment using MSWord or PDF format. The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2017.
Following a blind review by the committee, each participant will be notified via e-mail of the status of their proposal byFebruary 5, 2017.
